Privacy

What happens in the app. And when you visit this website.

In the Naimly app

Document text is extracted on your device and analysed with Apple’s local model. The app does not send this content to the developer or an external AI provider. Settings, suggestions and history are stored locally.

Photo data and place lookup

Photo analysis on Mac, iPhone and iPad runs locally. An existing EXIF capture date and an optional approximate place from a bundled GeoNames table can contribute to the filename. No network lookup is made. Raw coordinates are neither passed to the model nor saved in the job archive. A generated filename may contain the place; sharing the file also shares that name.

On this website

This website uses OpenPanel for statistics on page views, outbound links and explicitly marked clicks. Events are sent to our instance at opapi.treehouse.ch; the tracking script loads from openpanel.dev. Page addresses, referring websites, browser and device information, and an approximate location derived from connection data may be processed. Session Replay and personal user identification are disabled. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals are respected. The filename example uses prepared sample data: no visitor files are uploaded and no AI requests are made.

Technical connection data

Visiting the site transmits necessary technical connection data, such as your IP address, time and requested address, to the hosting infrastructure. The website application does not record individual requests in its own access log. Upstream proxy and infrastructure logging may differ.
